Abstract

ALTHOUGH the Arado Ar 95 is not a very modern type, it has certain features which make it of considerable general interest. It has not been seen to any extent round the shores of Britain, though it was reported in the early days of the war. When coupled with the fact that examples of the much older Heinkel He 60 seaplane were shot down by the Royal Air Force in October of this year, this seems sufficient evidence to warrant the Ar 95 being considered a standard machine. A number of seaplanes of this type has been supplied to the Turkish Air Force as well as to the German Naval units.
