Output‐Increase in C.I. Engines: Some Methods of Obtaining Improved Performance from the Two‐Stroke Sleeve‐Valve Type

Abstract

THE output‐increase of the two‐stroke C.I. engine seems to be closely connected with the future possibilities of sleeve valve development. More than any other constructional solution this one offers promising remedies against inherent drawbacks of the two‐stroke cycle.
