AB  - THE introduction and recent development of instruments for the accurate measurement of torsional damping capacity have provided for the metallurgist an accurate indication of this property, while structural changes due to processing can be observed and much valuable information gained. It is proposed to describe some of the latest methods of recording that are available, while accessories for the pre‐stressing of specimens and examination of records are also considered. A final reference is made to the method of calculation from record measurements.
