The Continuous Beam: The Case of Irregular Lateral Loading Combined with End Loads

Abstract

THE problem dealt with in this article has been solved before by various methods such methods involving the necessity of dividing an irregularly lateral loaded beam into a small number of bays in order to represent with fair accuracy the lateral loading by preconceived laws for which solutions are available.
