Abstract
WITH the recent acquisition of an aerodrome by the Rochester Corporation a wider field has been opened up for the firm of Short Brothers. Hitherto the firm has tended to specialize on the design of marine aircraft as, although possessing an admirable water aerodrome on the River Medway, the position of the works on its banks and the configuration of the land precluded the possibility of the construction of a land aerodrome.
