Abstract

PREVIOUS Reports have given some indication of the general principles of the electric balance designed to meet the conditions of operation peculiar to the Compressed‐Air Tunnel. This Report is not the place to give a complete description of the balance, which would involve many detailed drawings to make the construction of all the parts perfectly clear, but the following general description will, it is hoped, be sufficient to enable the main features of the balance and its mode of operation to be appreciated. Reference to Fig. 1 will show the general disposition of the components described below.
