The Three‐Engined Short “Valetta”: Full Details with Dimensions and Estimated Performances of a Monoplane Float Version of the “Calcutta”

Abstract

THE all‐metal “Valetta” has been built to the order of the British Air Ministry as an experimental aircraft to obtain particulars regarding the relative merits of a float and boat‐seaplane of a size comparable to the “Calcutta” as regards performance and seaworthiness.
