Abstract
THE Arens control appears to offer a solution of many control problems and, though equally suitable for replacing brake rods on motor‐cars, is specially adapted for use in aircraft. It can be utilised either for engine controls or for the operation of movable control surfaces, such as ailerons, rudders, and elevators, and variable tails or manually‐operated Handley‐Page slots. It appears to be particularly useful for taking controls round bends at any angle.
