Integrated Library Systems: Issues in Networking
Abstract
Some of the most exciting and potentially challenging developments for the academic and library communities are the growth of the electronic network, the explosion in the number of information sources becoming available through the network, and the connection of many libraries to the network. Much has been written, often with the zeal of the newly converted, of these wondrous events. So, it is appropriate for me to put in my two cents worth, for better or worse.
