AB  - Introduction FEW librarians have had the good fortune to plan and classify a large library from the ground up, so to speak. Most of us have to take over going concerns, repair deficient concerns, or rebuild on other people's foundations. In the particular case in question I had the rare opportunity to plan a ‘library’ of pictorial material with every possible help and consideration from those who commissioned me.
