INFORMAL ARCHITECTURAL NOTES ON THE PLANNING OF UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES

Abstract

The difficulties that architects and librarians have to face in this subject will arise, not in the enunciation of guiding principles, but in their application. For on every occasion when they have to collaborate special conditions arise owing to the circumstances of the creation and growth of the particular university with which they are dealing.
