Managing information. Information providers and information users can suffer equally from information overload. Information providers can find themselves with a Web site holding thousands, or tens of thousands, of pages; information users, meanwhile, want easy access to that information. If the information is to be authoritative then users must know it is being managed and updated appropriately, and if the information provision is to be commercially viable then its access and use must be monitored.
