Update of the original 3D Atlas, launched in 1996: maps reflect changes in world boundaries and demographic information is substantially updated. Includes comprehensive statistics on over 100 000 cities from the World Resource Institute; 200 city street maps; satellite views covering the whole globe, including Russian spy satellite shots of London; nearly 2000 photographs from around the world; profiles on over 250 countries; nine levels of detail from outer space to the bottom of the sea; 3D simulated flights over mountains, forests and deserts; Web access.
