FROM THE INFORMATION SOCIETY SHOWCASE

Abstract

An ‘information society showcase’ ran alongside the G7 conference in Brussels in February. Open to invitees only, it gave the chance to see leading edge applications from all seven countries represented at the conference. Here we report a selection which showed varied and (we think) potentially very useful ways ahead, in particular for online information systems.
