AB  - ISI/Biomed is a new bibliographic database, which forms a subset of SciSearch and contains about 800,000 references to articles, meeting abstracts, letters, editorials, review papers, etc. from approximately 1400 major international biomedical journals. The database, updated monthly, includes material from 1979 to the present, and is produced by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) in Philadelphia, USA. Since Oct 1981, it has been available, within the framework of the ISI Network, on a DEC‐computer at Information Consultants Inc., Washington DC for dial‐up (Telenet/Tymnet 300, 1200 bps) online searching, using a version of the Swedish IR software 3RIP.
