AB  - Our editorial policy. The misuse of words, particularly in the world of technology, is a post‐war habit that is developing at an alarming rate. Many of today's accepted definitions are ones that have resulted from common usage and, in reality, bear no relationship to the true meanings. We are constantly being reminded of this in our crusades against corrosion. We produce a publication called CORROSION TECHNOLOGY which is devoted to the discussion and dissemination of scientific and technical information on the causes of corrosion and methods of preventing it. If we were to be pedantic we would alter the title to ‘Corrosion and Anti‐corrosion Technology’, as it is the use of the prefix ‘anti’ that really denotes our policy.
