Abstract

This article covers, in some detail, the design of a specific case of cathodic protection—the 6‐in. Haifa‐Tel Aviv product line and the 16‐in. crude‐oil line from Ashdod to Haifa. Part 1, published in the April issue, covered preliminary technical considerations and this second part includes specific design problems and an illustrated description of the installation work and commissioning. Special attention has been paid to the design of report and other forms, suitable for each phase of the work.
