DESIGN AGAINST CORROSION

Abstract

The following article briefly outlines some of the methods which may be adopted in designing against corrosion. Not only must the engineer utilise to the full the new alloys and processes evolved by the metallurgist and chemist, but there is ample scope for increased mechanisation of plants for surface preparation and protective treatments, particularly for use in the field.
