CORROSION CONTROL IN PACKAGING

Abstract

THE fourth and largest International Packaging Exhibition to be held in Britain took place at Olympia, London, from January 18 to 28. There were over 200 exhibits, covering the whole range of the art or industry of packaging. Since the last exhibition two years ago there have been many advances in materials, methods and machines, assisted greatly by the easing of the supply position in all kinds of ways. It has been estimated that over £300 million a year is spent in the U.K. on packaging and that it forms 10% of the cost on average of all manufactured articles.
