Corrosion of Aluminium Cable Sheathing

Abstract

In their lecture on aluminium‐sheathed cables read before the Institution of Electrical Engineers in London recently, P. M. Hollingsworth and P. A. Raine discussed at some length the corrosion aspects of their subject. Here are extracts from their paper dealing with corrosion resistance of aluminium and protective methods.
