Warehousing in the north‐west
Abstract
Traditional investors needed for funding new warehousing schemes are becoming increasingly circumspect about putting cash into new developments. Tony Glover discusses why this funding is becoming scarce and looks at the dwindling supply of industrial warehousing, as a result of these measures. Some alternatives are described: instead of trying to win over the reluctant fund managers, operators who are big enough can, and are, releasing resources for their own design and build.
