Abstract

In the present circumstances one could be forgiven for assuming that Symphony in Gold (col, 25 min) has something to do with either devaluation or monetary reform. In fact the ‘gold’ turns out to be tobacco and the ‘symphony’ is created by the interplay of tobacco, people and machines in a vast cigarette factory.
