A Reply to Rand's Criticisms

Abstract

It was good of Mr. Rand to take the trouble to comment on my paper. However, I really cannot let some of his comments pass without some reply, partly because many of the remarks are so inaccurate and partly because he illustrates what seems to me to be a fundamental principle in management science.
