INTERNATIONAL LENDING: PRINCIPLES AND GUIDELINES FOR PROCEDURE (1987)

Abstract

In 1978 IFLA approved principles and guidelines for procedure for conducting international interlending. These can be found in Interlending Review, 1979, 7 (1), 14–17. They were amended slightly in 1983. In the light of rapidly changing technology and its impact on international interlending and document supply it was agreed that a major revision of the Principles and Guidelines was needed. This has now been carried out and the agreed text is given below.
