AB  - Intense corrosion occurs frequently in degasolination units, leading to repeated stoppings of the degasolination process and to expensive overhauls or even to the replacement of the severely damaged equipment. In order to establish the possibilities of reducing corrosion in such plants, studies were carried out on the mechanism and the role of the various factors accounting for the occurrence and intensification of this phenomenon, enabling the development of corrosion control methods.
