Abstract

Here are data taken from seven buildings surveyed by Building Use Studies during late 1991 and early 1992. The scale represents office users' satisfaction with their environment; ranging from very dissatisfied (=1) to very satisfied (=7). Scores are shown for satisfaction with overall comfort, noise, lighting, air quality and temperature on a typical floor in the building. As the mid‐point of the scale is 4, scores to the left of the mid‐point show relative dissatisfaction, and those to the right, relative satisfaction overall.
