AN INTRODUCTION TO THE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATION (EAPA)
Abstract
Employees experiencing personal or substance abuse problems require assistance from their managers. However, the responsibility for addressing those problems has not always been placed in either effective or indeed recognised hands. The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) has now drawn up standards for the benefit of employees and employers alike.
