Abstract

Deals with the Energy‐Economy‐Development network with a possible break‐up of the total system into two parts. The first part is confined to the Energy‐Economy System and known as the Integration part, while the second part is related to the Economy‐Development System known as the Effectiveness part of the total system. Whereas the knowledge integration (an information box), along with planning machinery is the knowledge base (a shell) of the overall system. The objective is to emphasize through a network approach that the knowledge base comprising knowledge integration and planning machinery can enhance the effectiveness of the total system via plan (programme) execution, and thereby the development objectives can be achieved at higher level.
