TY - JOUR AB - This paper discusses the recollection ability of a higher‐order correlation matrix continuous‐type associative memory in which each memorized pattern consists of real elements. Generally, the recollection error decreases according as the order of correlation increases, i.e. in a higher‐order correlation matrix associative memory, memorized patterns when the memory may recall a memorized pattern according to expectation increases. However, when the number of the elements in a key pattern is small, the recollection error does not decrease even if the order of correlation increases.
