Abstract

In this paper, we propose to analyse the incidence of the limitations inherent to a process of observation τ on the entropy of a statistical continuous set of events observed by means of τ. We present here a study of a particular case when τ is submitted only to fluctuations (the sensitivity and the accuracy of the apparatus are assumed to be perfect). In this case, τ is characterized by its “reliability limit”.
