Abstract
This paper investigates the multi‐criteria decision function in which the information available is just ordinal information on preferences and importance. A procedure is developed to combine the individual objective orderings to form an overall ordering based upon importances of each of the objectives. The theory of fuzzy sets is used as a framework in this paper.
