Abstract

NORBERT WIENER AWARDS The International Journal of Cybernetics and General Systems, Kybernetes, has established an annual award consisting of three prizes: (U.S. S500, S300, S200) to be made in respect of essays devoted to a given topic. This competition is organized in honour of the founder of cybernetics, Dr. Norbert Wiener. The submitted essays will be reviewed by an independent small committee of scientists of world renown and the prizes presented at a formal gathering. Assistance with travelling expenses to attend the presentation may be available to the winners of the competition.
