AUTOMATIC DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY AT ROCKWELL

Abstract

An automated assembly line with eight machines and 22 SCARA robots is producing 25 types of motor‐car door‐latches at a rate which is approaching 600 an hour at the Birmingham Access Control Systems factory of the Automotive Body Systems division of Rockwell International.
