AB  - A massive programme for modernising and developing the public employment service in Britain is announced in the free booklet INTO ACTION, available from the Department of Employment or any of its local offices. It sets out a clear timetable for providing a new‐style service designed to meet the needs of its potential customers — the 24 million employers and individual workers throughout the country. The plan, prepared by the Employment Services Agency (ESA), will radically change the way the public employment services are provided in Britain and will affect every community in time.
