This updated catalogue contains all PAHO (Pan American Health Organisation) and WHO publications on important public health issues, reflecting current knowledge of new and old problems, ongoing research, and important health achievements in the Americas. It also includes several publications that PAHO has co-edited with organisations such as the World Bank, the American Association of Public Health, and the American Cancer Society. Disasters, health and equity, communicable and non-communicable diseases, health promotion, and environmental health are but a few of themes addressed by the works included.
