Purpose – Describes the development of FA Learning by the UK’s Football Association, FA Learning being a wholly-owned subsidiary that management and other training to football club managers, referees and other people involved in football. Design/methodology/approach – Quotes Danielle Every, head of FA Learning, Chris Brady, associate dean of Cass Business School which delivers business and management training for the FA (including a football MBA) and people who have taken part in the training. Also discusses the relationship between FA Learning and the in-house training department within the Football Association. Findings – Underlines the breadth of the training and development offered by the Football Association, including training in business skills and leadership.
