“Know how and technology leading to business success in Europe.”

Developments and leadership in PCB fabrication technology and quality management.

The European Institute of Printed Circuits somehow always manages to choose interesting places for their conferences. Stockholm, Budapest, Barcelona, Nice, and St Petersburg have appeared on the notices before, but this year they are to host the event in Venice.

Running over two days, 8 and 9 June, the conference will be held at the Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana. Located near the Lagoon, the hotel is just minutes away from the airport and railway station, is linked to Venice, and is right outside the “Castellana” motorway exit.

EIPC will be devoting the two days to presentations by many experts on topics which are of immediate concern to the European PCB manufacturing industry, be they technical, commercial, political, or managerial. Nowadays it is not sufficient to be just good at what you do, you have to be better than that to compete. This conference is designed to help in this regard.

Venice is a city that probably requires no introduction at all. A city that is built on 120 islands on the edge of a 200 mile2 lagoon separated from the Adriatic by the storm-beach of the Lido. Its highways are the canals that separate islands linked to each other by countless bridges, such as the Rialto Bridge spanning the Grand Canal. Motor launches and gondolas are the buses and taxis of Venice, and the hub of the city is the great square of St Mark’s with outdoor cafes, orchestras, fashionable shopping arcades and the famous cathedral of St Mark’s. Venice is famous for its beauty and its uniqueness, and recalled in the homes of those who have visited by the ornamental glassware and jewelry that is a must for any one coming to Venice.

There will be a “Venice by Night” tour and a conference Dinner on Thursday evening, 8 June for all delegates and their companions, an event not to be missed.
