HMS FLEX-PLATER attracts great attention at this year's Productronica show
At this year's Productronica show in Munich, HMS Höllmüller presented its flex plating module as its latest development which, going by the name COM-PLATER (compact and plater), was the source of great attention and high interest of the trade fair for visitors and customers alike. The production line exhibited is going to Unimicron, the largest Taiwanese PCB manufacturer.
The COM-PLATER is distinguished by its very low maintenance costs due to its compact design and the maintenance-free stripping system. Equipped for both pulse or direct current, the production line is ideally designed for processing with acid copper or electrolytic tin. The transport system allows flex material down to 25 μm with a 9 μm copper cladding (1 mil and 1/8 oz) and less to be transported flawlessly. With a Desmearing and PTH before the COM-PLATER the complete unit can be regarded as a system. The HDF Tsunamis, with an almost zero defect operation, guarantee a high reliability and the leading edge technology.
