Cimnet Systems announces new agreements

Cimnet Systems, Inc. Has announced a cooperative agreement with ManiaBarco to provide a link between both their products that will enhance data integration among disparate systems.

“Cimnet Systems is pleased to work with leading CAM vendors such as ManiaBarco because integration insures the seamless flow of data between previously unintegrated systems. Our products – Paradigm and Engenixe – will now be able to read CAM data directly from ManiaBarco's Ucam,” stated Mehul Davé, president and CEO of Cimnet Systems, Inc. “Our goal is to solve a key problem in the PCB industry – the traditional lack of integration of data between technical and business systems. Our integrated products will provide exceptionally fast integration of fragmented data and allow customers to collaborate more efficiently for faster throughput.”

In a separate announcement, Cimnet also discolsed the formation of a strategic relationship with PNK GmbH ingenieurbüro, a custom developer of specialized production software based in Kleve, Germany have formed a distributorship business relationship.

Cimnet Systems intends to work with PNK to solve a traditional problem of PCB production support – the lack of integration of data among customer parts, tools, production resources and work orders on the shop floor, as well as the lack of online multi-plant accessibility of all related data at any time.

PNK's software solution automates the dynamic generation and management of optimised tools for resources such as drilling and imaging machines, plotters, and AOI machines by means of central storage and real-time interfacing of all relevant production data. An automated data flow translates into reduction of downtime, shortened cycle time, quality improvement, reduced CAM costs and administration, and eliminates manual procedures and handling. PNK has already implemented its tool management solution in the various plants of the Ruwel Group in Germany.
