CEMEX merges with Nepcon UK

The CEMA board have recently announced that their biennial CEMEX exhibition is to be merged with Nepcon 2001 to form a show within a show, called CEMEX @ Nepcon 2001.

The decision was made as a result of continued consolidation in the industry making it unviable to continue to hold CEMEX as a standalone exhibition.

Nepcon offers many synergies to CEMA members. It is currently the largest electronics exhibition in the UK and already attracts a large number of visitors who are directly involved, or have an interest in printed circuits.

Historically, Nepcon has had strong links with the PCB industry and in earlier years the PCB community represented a significant part of the exhibition.

The CEMA board have signed a long-term agreement with Reed Exhibition Companies, enabling CEMA members to benefit from a healthy discount from the standard Nepcon rates.
