This systematic review aimed to determine whether acupuncture, given with embryo transfer, improves rates of pregnancy and live birth among women undergoing in vitro fertilisation. The authors concluded that acupuncture treatment improves rates of pregnancy and live birth, but results are preliminary and further trials are needed. The overall conclusions reflect the evidence presented and are likely to be reliable.
