This review concluded that sirolimus- and paclitaxel-eluting stents were associated with a significantly lower likelihood of target lesion revascularisation relative to conventional techniques (balloon angioplasty or vascular brachytherapy). This review was generally well-conducted and its conclusions seem reliable.
