Mohsen Attaran is a Millie Ablin Outstanding Professor of Management at California State University, Bakersfield. His research interests include global manufacturing, management of technology, operations strategy, project management, continuous quality improvement, and managing the total quality transformation. He is the author or co-author of three books and ten commercial software packages. He has taught in the USA, Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East, and was a three-time recipient of the MPPP (Meritorious Performance and Professional Promise) award for outstanding performance in teaching, research and community services. He has been a consultant to public and private organizations including Caltrans, Chevron, Shell Oil Co., Texaco USA, Arco Oil and Gas, among others. Joseph Calandro Jr

Joseph Calandro Jr is a Managing Consultant with IBM Business Consulting Services and a Finance Department faculty member of the University of Connecticut. He has published in a number of scholarly journals, including the Journal of Alternative Investments, Risk Management & Insurance Review, and Journal of Applied Corporate Finance. Michael Charles

Michael Charles is the President of Brocods Enterprise, a subsidiary of MCharles International. He also works at JPMorgan Chase as a Business Analyst, and serves as Treasurer and Assistant Director of the God of Mercy Church Concert Band and Choir. Mr Charles’s dedication to excellence is recognized by several national honor societies, including Beta Gamma Sigma – the highest national scholastic recognition a student in business can receive, and the United States Air Force Band of the Rockies as a featured guest performer. Jan Emblemsvåg

Jan Emblemsvåg is Senior Vice-President of Manufacturing at Fora Form AS – the largest contract furniture manufacturer in Norway – where he is responsible for all manufacturing, procurement and logistics processes. He is also an adjunct faculty member, gives lectures and is a management consultant. He holds his PhD in Engineering but his research and work in general is inter-disciplinary, ranging from cost management, strategy/risk management, and general management to business development. Robert Flynn

Robert Flynn is the Executive Director of the Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services Cluster, a strategic initiative sponsored by 30 global corporate leaders to advance the industry throughout the state of Connecticut, USA. He is a contributing author to the Handbook of Business Strategy (1998) and Proteus: Insights from 2020 (2000), and he has published in the Journal of Alternative Investments (2005). William E. Halal is Professor of Science, Technology, & Innovation at George Washington University, Washington, DC, and Co-Director of the Institute for Knowledge & Innovation. He is also President of TechCast LLC, a virtual think tank tracking the technology revolution. Sajjad M. Jasimuddin

Sajjad M. Jasimuddin is a Lecturer at the School of Management and Business, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK and is also an Associate Professor of Management, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his MPhil in International Business from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and PhD in Knowledge Management from the School of Management, University of Southampton. Sajjad did his BCom (Honours) (First Class First) and MCom (First Class First) from the University of Dhaka. Sajjad is the author/co-author of several book chapters and more than 30 articles. Eric H. Kessler

Eric H. Kessler is Professor of Management and Founding Director of the Lubin Leaders and Scholars Program at Pace University. He is also President of the Eastern Academy of Management, a member of several editorial and professional boards, and has served with the National Security Education Program. Dr Kessler’s research, widely published in leading academic journals and book series, focuses on decision making in organizations, partcularly as applied to innovation and emerging technology. Mitsuru Kodama is a Professor of Information and Management in the College of Commerce and Graduate School of Business Administration at Nihon University. John Pourdehnad

John Pourdehnad is Associate Director of the Ackoff Center for Advancement of Systems Approaches (ACASA). He holds his PhD in Systems Sciences from the Wharton School and is currently Adjunct Professor of Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Affiliated Faculty with the Organizational Dynamics Program at Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences. His primary areas of focus and research include implications of systems thinking in complex problem formulation and systems redesign, project management, and knowledge development in creation of new products and services, among others.
