Emerald is pleased to announce an exciting new development for next year. As of 2005, Balance Sheet will join with the newly acquired Journal of Risk Finance to bring you a more extensive, in-depth journal and an even greater knowledge of the key issues affecting financial risk management.
A new journal
This new publication will focus on risk finance, both as an emergent risk management paradigm and a systematic framework in which insurance and capital markets approaches to risk converge. The Journal will offer practical research and strategies on the pricing, allocation and distribution of risk for managers of financial institutions and corporations. The Journal's mission is to link end-users of financial products and insurance with the suppliers who provide structured risk solutions in the marketplace. As well as focusing upon academic issues, the journal will also retain some of its corporate insights to ensure a true blend of theory and practice.
What does this mean?
Instead of receiving Volume 13 of Balance Sheet you will get Volume 6 of Journal of Risk Finance Incorporating Balance Sheet.
If your subscription is due to continue in 2005, you will automatically receive this new journal until your subscription expires. At this point you will be offered the opportunity of renewing to Journal of Risk Finance Incorporating Balance Sheet.
Of course, you will still retain full access to the Balance Sheet archive.
Should you have any further queries about your subscription, please do not hesitate to contact Suzanne Halliday at email@example.com.
