An anonymous couple have made a $1 million donation to the new central library of the Chaptham-Effingham-Liberty Regional Library, Savanna, Georgia. This gift raises the total amount collected toward the $8.3 million project to $3.2 million.
In California, an anonymous donor is matching all contributions to the Glendora Public Library of $1,000 or more, up to a total of $100,000. The funds will support literacy programs, technology projects, and the summer reading program.
