Millennium Concepts launches new web site

Article Type: News and views From: Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology: An International Journal, Volume 80, Issue 4

Millennium Concepts, Inc., the Wichita-based aircraft design and completions firm, has launched a new web site, www.millennium.aero. The on-line site is located on the world’s first industry-based top-level internet domain, aero, which is reserved for aviation-related businesses. The site details Millennium’s beginnings in 1999, when it provided the engineering for a VIP interior on a private Boeing 737 business jet to its current status as an industry leader in the engineering, design, and certification of interiors for commercial aircraft. Its client base ranges from single engine turboprops to jumbo jets.

The company’s growth from four employees to more than 60 has paralleled the expansion of its capabilities to include the fabrication of aircraft seats and cabinetry to complement its engineering-related services. Millennium’s list of customers includes Associated Air Center, Bombardier, Cessna, Eclipse, Embraer, EADS Aerospace, Gore Design, Marshall Aviation, Quest Aircraft, Raytheon, and Yingling Aviation. It numbers professional sports teams, movie stars, heads of state and prominent casinos among its clients, as well.

“With the growth of our client list, the expansion of our capabilities to include fabrication of seats and interior components, we’ve experienced increased requests for information and an abundance of interest in Millennium Concepts from potential and existing clients, members of the media and a variety of professional organizations,” noted Simon Hornblow, Program Director for Millennium. “Our new web site is designed to provide responses to these inquiries by organizing information that is useful and comprehensive in a convenient and accessible site. The site is posted on the aviation domain and offers an overview of the company and a ready reference regarding the experience and expertise which sets us apart from our competition,” he added.

The new web site also includes numerous photos of Millennium’s employees and facilities, details its services and products and includes interactive pages for potential clients and prospective employees, allowing them to fill out informational surveys or job applications on-line.
