Head of Marketing and Business Development

Dunlop Aerospace Aftermarket Services of Coventry, UK, has appointed John Edwards as Head of Marketing and Business Development – Aftermarket Services, based at Coventry, UK, but with responsibilities covering the company's businesses in Europe, South East Asia and North America (Plate 1).

John is an experienced member of the Dunlop Aerospace team and has spent the last 5 years in the Far East as general manager of the company's Singapore branch. He joined the company in 1977, working in a variety of technical positions before transferring to the sales team, where he played a key role in winning contracts on the Gulfstream GIV and GV programmes. For the last 5 years, he has served as general manager of Dunlop Aerospace, South East Asia, based at Singapore.

DAAS has also appointed Fergus Lopez as General Manager of Dunlop Aerospace South East Asia, based at Singapore (Plate 2).

Fergus is a Canadian citizen and joins DAAS from Standard Aero International, where he was divisional director of Marketing and Business Development. He brings to his new appointment considerable local aerospace and business knowledge, having worked in the Asia Pacific region on three separate occasions over a 22-year period.
