Airbus supplier approval
Meggitt Silicone Products (MSP), a unit of Meggitt Aerospace Equipment Group, has recently announced that it has received supplier approval from Airbus and has commenced shipment of products for the A330 and A340 aircraft. This approval will support contracts at GKN-Alabama, Goodrich Aerospace and future Airbus and Airbus First Tier supplier contracts.
Initial shipment of products commenced in late November. MSP is initially providing GKN with more than 100 different aerospace seals used on the wing and numerous seals to Goodrich Aerospace.
