Top quality recognition for A J Walter aviation

A J Walter Aviation, the aircraft support specialist, has a tradition of commitment to quality which spans over 70 years in the aviation industry. The Company has recently been awarded the following approvals:

FAA AC00-56A: This is the latest revision of the voluntary accreditation programme for aircraft component stockists recommended by the FAA. A J Walter has been upgraded to this in recognition of their ability to meet customers' rigorous quality requirements.

AIRBUS: Following a quality audit to standard prEN9120 last year, AJW has now been awarded "Approved Supplier Status" by Airbus.

ISO 9001: 2000: To maintain their position at the forefront of total airline support, A J Walter Aviation has just been upgraded from the previous ISO 9002: 1994 quality approval to ISO 9001: 2000.

The company also reports that it is negotiating to build-up a strategic partnership with China's pre-eminent low-cost carrier – Hainan Airlines. A J Walter provides Dornier 328 operators with extensive D328 repair and overhaul capability, and Hainan Airlines grants AJW the rights to market Hainan's Domier 328 surplus spares inventory, aircraft maintenance and logistics services to other D328 operators world-wide.

Hainan Airlines currently has a fleet of 78 aircraft, including 19 D328-300s, which are based domestically and on their recently expanded routes out of Hainan Island, China into South East Asia – including South Korea, Malaysia and Macao.
