IAC appoints new chief executive

Due to the impending retirement of George Dawson, IAC, the acoustics specialist with plants in Winchester, UK; Copenhagen, Denmark and Niederkruchten, Germany – has appointed Mr. Brian Quarendon to become managing director and CEO from (Plate 10).

Brian joins IAC from Marconi where, for the past eight years, he has managed a group of international companies engaged in retail electronics and other specialist activities.

His previous business experience was gained with British Aerospace Systems, MEL/ Philips and Racal Simulation Ltd.

George will stay on the Board of IAC until June 2002 as a non-executive director and will remain available to Brian as a technical consultant throughout this period.
